GOAL:
Maintain lines of communication with appropriate State legislative offices. Work with NBEA and ACTE to establish lines of communication with appropriate Federal legislative offices.
ACTION STRATEGIES:
1. Communicate regularly with the MBEA membership regarding implementation of Public Act 123 of 2006 (High School Reform/Graduation Requirements).
2. Continue to work with Michigan Board of Education, MDE, and MDLEG to ensure MBEA’s participation in the curriculum work necessary to support the new high school graduation requirements and that business education is infused into the new framework.
